VERSATRANS® ULV ATF

FULL-SYNTHETIC, ULTRA-LOW VISCOSITY AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION FLUID; FORD MERCON ULV APPROVED

Kendall® VersaTrans® ULV ATF is a full-synthetic, ultra-low viscosity (ULV) transmission fluid approved for use in passenger car and light-duty truck automatic transmissions that require a Ford MERCON® ULV fluid.

VersaTrans ULV ATF is specifically designed to provide long service life and consistent shift performance for the life of the fluid and better shift performance under extreme operating conditions.

This ULV ATF was designed for use in many modern transmissions, including 10-speed transmissions, that must meet enhanced performance requirements. This transmission fluid provides excellent anti-shudder performance and has enhanced low-temperature properties for high-shifting performance in cold weather. Because it has an ultra-low viscosity, it has increased fuel economy compared to higher-viscosity fluids.

VersaTrans ULV ATF is recommended for use in many newer Ford and GM vehicles where the manufacturer recommends MERCON ULV or equivalent transmission fluid. This fluid is not recommended for use in dual-clutch transmissions (DCTs), belt- or chain-driven continuously variable transmissions (CVTs), or older transmissions that require a higher-viscosity fluid. Please refer to the owner's manual for the correct fluid recommendation.
